RV Towing Daytona Near Ormond Beach
Service Dog Makes it to Miami after RV Towing Daytona
If there is one thing that the RV towing Daytona team at Universal Towing loves, it’s helping people. This is especially true when these people are dedicated to helping others in the community themselves. On Thursday, December 19, 2019, the Universal Towing did just that when they responded to a call for roadside assistance for a 22-foot class C motorhome with a flat tire in Ormond Beach, near Daytona Beach.
Upon arrival, the RV towing Daytona team found a woman and her service dog stranded on I-95 and Highway 1. On their return from comforting cancer patients in hospice care, the woman and her furry friend found their journey slowed when the motorhome’s tire blew out. Stopped in the shoulder with cars speeding by, and with no spare tire in sight, it was clear that this was a job for heavy towing professionals.
The woman placed several calls to local tow companies and a national motor club, none of which was able to provide assistance. Universal Towing proved to be the right fit for the job. The tire of the motorhome was so deflated that manual jacks were needed to lift up the back of each side on the motorhome. The RV towing Daytona team then placed wooden blocks underneath for support. The motorhome was put on to the flatbed and transported to a local tire company for repair. With that, the woman and her service pooch were able to continue on their journey towards Miami-Dade and bring joy to cancer patients.
Details of RV Daytona near Ormond Beach
On December 19, 2019, the RV towing Daytona team received a call for assistance. The call involved a 22-foot class C motorhome with a severely flattened tire. Universal Towing promptly dispatched the RV towing Daytona team to the scene to provide help. Upon arrival, the RV towing Daytona team found a woman and her service dog stranded on I-95 and Highway 1 near Ormond Beach, north of Daytona Beach. While traveling high-speed down 95 and 1, the motorhome blew out a rear tire on the driver’s side. The immobilized vehicle sat in the shoulder, inoperable. With no spare on board, the woman called several local towing companies and a national motor club, none of which was able to help with the flat tire. Because the tire had deflated so much, the motorhome was sitting too close to the ground for other towing companies to change out the tire or get it onto a flatbed. Despite the challenge, the RV towing Daytona team of Universal Towing responded with the necessary equipment and know-how to complete the job. RV towing Daytona used two manual jacks to hoist up the rear end of the motorhome. Once lifted in the air, they slid wooden blocks underneath the motorhome to support it. Then, the RV towing Daytona team was able to winch the motorhome on to a flatbed. The flatbed transported the motorhome, the woman, and her service dog to a local tire shop where the woman secured a replacement. She was able to continue on her journey towards Miami-Dade safely. Universal Towing’s RV towing Daytona team was happy to help the woman and her service dog get back on the road to comfort cancer patients.
